We would like to bring your attention to two wonderful projects that are happening in the city.

On October 20, we, along with other members and supporters of the queer community, will be wearing purple in memory of the recent lives lost to homophobic bullying. Tyler Clementi, Asher Brown, and Seth Walsh are just a few of the many youths who have recently taken their own lives as a direct result of homophobia and bullying.

At 4:00 pm on October 20, there will be a rally at Grand Parade outside City Hall. We hope you will join us in honouring their memory and standing up for our future. Let our youth know that it gets better.
