This is Amanda Dickie form the SMU Women's Centre I just wanted to give everyone a heads up on our upcoming panel discussion on Sex workers rights. In order to make this event a success we need help in spreading the word! As such if you would be able to speak to your classes, students, collegues or perhaps post event posters to help us promote this important discussion that would be great!
Talking the Trade: Sex Workers Rights and Legal Reforms
Discussion Panel on Sex Workers rights, policing, recent legal reforms and what they would mean for sex workers and the community.
Dispelling myths and getting the facts on Sex work, legalities, risks, rights and the law.
Featuring Leslie Ann Jeffrey author of Sex Workers Talk Back, Representative from Stepping Stone (sex workers rights group) and Local Sex workers.
